Why do many countries still maintain their monarchies?

Many countries have continued to maintain their monarchies despite the popularity of republican practices. This is due to a blend of history, constitutional role, cultural uniqueness and political stability. According to Ginsburg et al. (2025), constitutional monarchies are usually not affiliated with any party, and they serve as emblems of unity, while still embodying the nation’s political and cultural heritage in a modern governance setting.

A major reason why monarchies exist and thrive in the modern world is the symbolic role that they play in creating a national identity. Monarchs characterise the historic and cultural stability of a country – they connect the past, present and future facets of a nation. Their presence promotes unity, especially in societies with multiple ethnicities where cultural differences may hinder unity (Pillalalamarri, 2014). Ceremonial gatherings, such as royal visits, national cultural celebrations, and other festivals, help to strengthen a sense of togetherness.

Moreover, there is a form of reputation and pomp associated with royalty, which is why royal and cultural events attract tourism, thereby increasing a country’s revenue. Japan, Thailand and the United Kingdom have leveraged the monarchies and royal families to reinforce economic and diplomatic ties (Pillalalamarri, 2014). Monarchy may be expensive, but these expenses are viewed as investments that yield international popularity and reputation.

Monarchs act as agents of stabilisation. They serve as a link between different parties in politics since they are usually nonpartisan (Tridimas, 2021). They reign longer and have prospect to provide stability in leadership during national instability. They are not susceptible to interim democratic pressures. This helps to maintain a stable and working society even when elected leaders are at loggerheads.

In conclusion, monarchies continue to be present because their function in society exceeds governance; they encourage national stability, economic development and moral guidance. They blend traditions and cultures with political philosophies, which ensure their relevancy in the modern world.

The Great Escape from Children Church

If you’ve ever been to Christ the Lord Cathedral Camp in Igboora, you’ll understand why my friends and I did what we did. Picture a place deep in the bush of Oyo State—dry ground, scattered trees, and flies that fly like they’re on a mission. The camp itself was huge, with over 10,000 children packed under one wide white canopy with a low wooden fence. Honestly, the fence was just for decoration—any goat or determined child could cross it without stress.

Every morning, like clockwork, we were marched into Children Church like sheep heading to judgment. The program started with loud singing and clapping, and then moved into long talks from aunties and uncles who acted like they were preaching to grown-ups. Nothing made sense to us. We just sat, counted ceiling holes, and waited for the next round of boredom.

Well, not all parts were boring. We lived for the Children Choir Concert, where some kids wore white gloves and danced like angels on stage. We screamed during Sword Drill—that Bible race game that made us feel like champions. Catch the Fish game was our Olympics. And praise and worship? That was our own disco.

But the rest? Torture.

So one Sunday, I gave my friends The Look. You know that look of rebellion that says “Today, we break free!”

There was me, Tope, Chika, Amaka, and Daniel—all aged between 8 and 10. Small in size, big in plans. We were seated in the middle row under the canopy, surrounded by hundreds of sweaty children and several fat, no-nonsense female children leaders who guarded the entrance like angels with plastic chairs instead of swords. These women did not smile. Their eyes could detect mischief from one kilometre away.

We waited for the perfect moment—when one of the leaders stood to adjust her wrapper and another got distracted shouting, “Sit properly! You there! I’m talking to you!”

That was our chance.

One by one, we slid under the wooden fence like soldiers on a secret mission. We ran behind the canopy, dodging low tree branches, and slipped into the bush. The ground was dusty, and my slippers got stuck in a thorny plant, but I didn’t care. We ran like antelopes escaping lion.

Now, the hostel was another beast. The main entrance had two mean hostel aunties who were always holding big wooden keys and speaking with thunder in their voice. If they caught you, they would report you to every adult on camp and still scold your soul.

So we used the window.πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…

Our hostel was in an uncompleted building at the edge of the camp. There were no louvres on the windows, just iron bars and enough space to squeeze our tiny bodies through. Tope went first, then Amaka, then me. I scraped my elbow, but freedom has a price.

Once inside, we whispered like spies, giggled like hyenas, and dove under bunks like action movie stars whenever we heard footsteps. We ate cabin biscuits we had hidden in our pillowcases. We told jokes. We braided each other’s hair. We even gave ourselves code names like Agent Jollof and Commander Cabin.
It wasn’t about the escape anymore—it was the friendship. The laughter. The thrill of doing something bold.

And speaking of jollof…

Let me tell you - the best part of that camp was not the worship. Not even the choir. It was jollof rice day. We usually ate beans that tasted like charcoal, yam that could injure your teeth, and eba that looked like punishment. But when they brought that steaming jollof rice—with meat the size of a baby's thumb—ah! It felt like love. The tomato smell, the soft grains, the little meat glistening on top like a diamond in red sand. That was our gospel.

Now, was our escape the right thing to do?
No.

Did we learn any Bible verse that day?
Absolutely not!

But did we bond? Did we laugh till our stomach hurt? Did we create a memory that still makes me smile years later?
Yes.πŸ’‹

Would I do it again if I had the chance?
Without blinking.πŸ˜πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…

🀣Just don’t tell Aunty Florence. She’s still searching for the five missing children from Children Church that Sunday. πŸ˜‡

Crafting Killer Transactional Writing: Unleash Your Inner Author, Mate!

Alright, listen up, you wonderful lot! Transactional writing might sound like something dull your teacher drones on about while you're dreaming of TikTok fame, but trust me, mastering it is essential, whether you're acing your exams, applying for uni, or even just convincing your parents that you deserve a later curfew.

The key? Elevating it from plain-old information dumps to something engaging. And how do we do that? By sneaking in some sneaky literary devices! GCSE and A-Level English teachers would be proud!

What Is Transactional Writing Anyway?

Before we dive in, let’s get on the same page. Transactional writing is all about getting something done. It’s about informing, persuading, instructing, or advising. Think essays, reports, letters, reviews, articles – anything where your primary goal is to communicate information effectively and achieve a specific purpose. Why Bother with Literary Devices? Isn't it Supposed to be 'Just the Facts'? Good question!
Simply put, literary devices make your writing more:
  • Engaging: They grab the reader’s attention and keep them hooked.
  • Memorable: Well-crafted prose sticks in the mind.
  • Persuasive: Subtle techniques can sway your reader's opinion without them even realising!
  • Readable: Even the most complex subject matter can become more accessible when presented in a more engaging way.

Let's look at the key ingredients to spice up your transactional writing.

Level Up Your Writing: Literary Devices 101

Here are a few literary devices you can sprinkle into your transactional writing to add that extra oomph:
  • Anecdotes: Short, personal stories to illustrate a point. They make you relatable and humanise your argument.
  • Rhetorical Questions: Questions you don't expect an answer to, but use to make the reader think.
  • Think: "Isn't it time we took climate change seriously?" Metaphors & Similes: Comparing two unlike things to create a vivid image or explain a complex idea simply. (e.g., "The data was a tidal wave," or "Arguments were as sharp as shards of glass").
  • Alliteration: Repeating the same consonant sound which makes a sentence roll of the tounge.
  • Emotive Language: Choosing words that evoke specific feelings in the reader. Use this sparingly to avoid sounding melodramatic.
  • Juxtaposition: Placing two contrasting ideas side-by-side to highlight their differences. Repetition: Strategic repetition of key words or phrases for emphasis. Think of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a dream".
  • Humour: A well-placed joke can ease tension and make you more likeable. But be careful – know your audience!
  • A Story to Illustrate the Point: The Case of the Dodgy Doughnut Let's say I'm writing a review about a new doughnut shop called "Doughnut Delight".

Without Literary Devices (Boring!):

"Doughnut Delight sells doughnuts. The doughnuts are sometimes good and sometimes bad. The service is okay. I might go back."

Yawn!

With Literary Devices (Much Better!):

"Doughnut Delight promised a sugary paradise, a haven for the sweet-toothed pilgrim. But my experience? Well, it was more of a doughnut disaster. The first bite of the 'Chocolate Explosion'? A symphony of disappointment. The chocolate, bitter and betraying, coated a dough so dry, it resembled the Sahara. Was this truly the 'Delight' I had heard whispers of? Or was it a cruel deception? Now, the 'Salted Caramel Swirl' offered a glimmer of hope. The caramel, sweet and sticky, was a welcome reprieve. However, the whole experience left me as confused as a chameleon in a bag of skittles. Will I go back? Perhaps. But Doughnut Delight needs to decide if it wants to be a sugary dream, or a pastry nightmare.

" See the difference? The second review uses:
  • Metaphor: "Sugary paradise", "Doughnut disaster", "chameleon in a bag of skittles" Emotive language: "bitter and betraying", "cruel deception", "sweet and sticky"
  • Rhetorical question: "Will I go back?"
  • Alliteration: "sugary dream"

It's much more engaging, memorable, and paints a clear picture of my experience for the reader.

Tips for Using Literary Devices in Transactional Writing:
  • Know Your Audience: Tailor your language and devices to who you're writing for.
  • Don't Overdo It: A sprinkle is good, a deluge is overwhelming. Subtlety is key.
  • Purposeful Use: Every device should serve a clear purpose – to clarify, emphasise, or engage.
  • Practice Makes Perfect: Experiment with different devices and see what works best for you.
  • Read Widely: The more you read, the better you'll become at recognising and using literary devices yourself.

Make Your Mark! So, there you have it! Don't let transactional writing be a tedious chore. Embrace the power of literary devices, inject some personality, and watch your writing transform from "meh" to "magnificent"! Now go forth and write something amazing! Good luck, you've got this!

The Power of Storytelling in Grant Writing: Tips for Success

Congratulations! You've conquered the world of academia, and now you're stepping into the real world, brimming with ambition and ideas. But how do you turn those ideas into reality, especially when funding is scarce? Enter the world of grant writing.

While grant writing can seem daunting, it's a powerful tool for securing resources to fund your projects, research, or even your entrepreneurial dreams. And the key to unlocking its potential? Storytelling.

Think about it: Who are you trying to convince with your grant proposal? Not just a faceless committee, but real people with real emotions and vested interests. They want to be moved, not just informed.

Here's how to leverage storytelling in your grant writing, making you stand out from the crowd:

1. Identify your 'Why'

Before you start writing, delve deep into your project's purpose. What problem are you solving? What impact will it have? This goes beyond dry facts. What's the personal story behind your project? What motivates you to pursue it?

2. Paint a Vivid Picture:

Use descriptive language and concrete examples to bring your project to life. Instead of writing 'This program will help disadvantaged youth,' show us a specific child who will benefit. Describe their struggles, their aspirations, and how your program will change their lives.

3. Show, Don't Tell:

Instead of saying 'Our team is highly qualified,' demonstrate it through testimonials, accomplishments, and relevant experience. Let the story speak for itself.

4. Connect with the Reader Emotionally:

Appeal to the reader's sense of empathy, passion, and commitment to the cause. Use anecdotes, relatable scenarios, and a compelling narrative arc to create a genuine connection.

5. Craft a Compelling Narrative:

Structure your proposal like a story with a clear beginning, rising action, climax, and resolution. This keeps the reader engaged and paints a clear picture of your vision.

Bonus Tip: Practice your storytelling skills! Present your project to friends, family, or mentors, and see how they react. Their feedback can help you refine your narrative and ensure it resonates with your target audience.

Remember: Grant writing is about more than just presenting facts. It's about inspiring action, sparking imagination, and creating a future that's worth investing in. By harnessing the power of storytelling, you can turn your dreams into reality and make a real impact on the world.

So, go forth and tell your stories! The world is waiting to hear them.

Japa Syndrome in Nigeria

 Introduction

In recent years, the term "Japa" has seen a significant rise in Nigeria's lexicon. Originally, it's a Japanese phrase meaning "run away". In Nigeria, however, "Japa" has a different significance. It denotes the act of relocating overseas, often to escape economic hardship or societal issues. This phenomenon has grown into what is now referred to as "Japa Syndrome".

The birth of Japa Syndrome has its roots in Nigeria's socio-economic condition. Over the years, the nation has grappled with high unemployment rates, inflation, and poor infrastructure. Consequently, many Nigerians, especially the youth, have developed the aspiration to relocate overseas in search of greener pastures.

The Allure of Relocating Overseas

For many Nigerians, the thought of relocating overseas is indeed enticing. Developed countries offer a promise of better living conditions, job opportunities, and quality education. Also, the perception that these countries provide a level playing field, where hard work is rewarded, fuels the desire to "Japa".

The Reality of Japa Syndrome

However, it's important to shed light on the reality of Japa Syndrome. The process of relocating overseas is not without its challenges. It involves a significant financial investment, coupled with the emotional toll of leaving familiar surroundings.  Some individuals resort to drastic measures, such as sham marriages or fraudulent asylum claims, to facilitate their relocation.   These actions often result in legal complications, further exacerbating the situation. Others face the harsh reality of discrimination and xenophobia in their host countries.   This can lead to social isolation and mental health issues.

The Impact of Japa Syndrome on Nigeria

The impact of Japa Syndrome on Nigeria is multifaceted and far-reaching. Economically, the country loses a significant portion of its skilled labour force, leading to a brain drain. This undermines Nigeria's development and economic growth. Socially, families are torn apart as loved ones relocate overseas. This often results in strained relationships and emotional distress.

Conclusion

While the allure of relocating overseas is undeniable, it's essential to consider the realities and implications of Japa Syndrome. As a society, it's crucial to address the underlying issues driving this phenomenon. This will help curb the prevalence of Japa Syndrome and foster a more promising future for Nigeria. The Japa Syndrome is indeed a complex issue. It's a manifestation of deep-seated economic and societal challenges in Nigeria. It calls for concerted efforts from all stakeholders to address and mitigate its impacts. Ultimately, the goal should be to create a Nigeria where the youth see a future and don't feel the need to "Japa".

Understanding Depression in Nigeria: Real Case Studies

Depression and mental illness are serious issues that affect millions of people around the world, and Nigeria is no exception. Despite being a country with a rich cultural heritage and vibrant community, mental health remains a largely misunderstood and stigmatized issue in Nigeria. According to the World Health Organization, one in four Nigerians will experience a mental health condition at some point in their lives, yet only a small fraction of them receive the necessary treatment.

One of the main reasons for the lack of proper treatment for mental illness in Nigeria is the cultural and societal stigma surrounding it. Many Nigerians believe that mental illness is a result of personal weakness or a spiritual problem, and as a result, those who suffer from it are often shunned and ostracized by their families and communities. This stigma can have devastating effects on individuals, leading them to suffer in silence and not seek help.

One such case is that of 23-year-old Aisha, who was diagnosed with clinical depression at the age of 19. Aisha's symptoms started during her final year of university when she struggled to keep up with her studies and maintain relationships. She would often feel sad, and hopeless, and experience intense feelings of guilt for no apparent reason. Her family and friends dismissed her struggles as a mere phase, and she was told to pray and have faith in God to make her better. However, Aisha's condition only worsened, and she eventually had to drop out of university.

After months of struggling alone, Aisha finally sought help and was diagnosed with clinical depression. She was prescribed medication and therapy, but she faced backlash from her family and community for seeking treatment for a 'spiritual problem.' Aisha's story is not unique in Nigeria, as many people with mental illness face similar challenges in seeking treatment due to the cultural stigma attached to it.

Another case study is that of 42-year-old Ibrahim, who has been living with schizophrenia for over 20 years. Ibrahim's symptoms began in his early twenties, and he was labeled as 'possessed' by his community. He was chained and abused by his family, who believed that he was a danger to himself and others. It was not until a local NGO intervened and provided him with proper treatment that Ibrahim's condition improved. However, he still faces discrimination and struggles to find employment due to his mental illness.

The stories of Aisha and Ibrahim are just two examples of the challenges faced by individuals with mental 0illness in Nigeria. Despite the passing of the Mental Health Act in 2013, which aims to promote and protect the rights of people with mental illness, there is still a lack of proper infrastructure and resources to support those in need.

However, there is hope for change. Organizations such as Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI) and She Writes Woman are working towards breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness in Nigeria. They provide support, education, and advocacy for individuals with mental health conditions, and have been instrumental in changing the narrative around mental health in the country.

Depression and mental illness are prevalent in Nigeria, and the stigma attached to it only makes it harder for those who suffer to seek the help they need. Nigerian society must educate themselves and break the stigma surrounding mental health. With health proper support and resources, individuals like Aisha and Ibrahim can live fulfilling lives and contribute positively to their communities.

What does academic research entail?

Academic research is a fundamental aspect of higher education (universities and colleges) that involves the systematic investigation of a particular subject or topic. It is a rigorous process that requires critical thinking, analysis, and the application of various research methodologies. Academic research plays a crucial role in advancing knowledge, contributing to the development of new theories, and providing evidence-based solutions to real-world problems.

One of the key elements of academic research is the formulation of a research question or hypothesis. This question serves as the guiding principle for the entire research process and helps to focus the investigation. The research question should be specific, measurable, and relevant to the field of study. It should also be feasible within the constraints of time, resources, and ethical considerations. You can find this in the thesis and dissertation of students enrolled in higher education.

Here is an example of a research hypothesis and question.

Once the research question is established, the next step is to conduct a comprehensive literature review. This involves reviewing existing scholarly works, such as books, journal articles, and conference papers, to gain a thorough understanding of the current state of knowledge on the topic. The literature review helps to identify gaps in the existing research and provides a foundation for the research design.

After the literature review, the researcher must design a research methodology that is appropriate for the research question. This may involve selecting a quantitative or qualitative approach, determining the sample size and sampling technique, and choosing the data collection methods. The research methodology should be valid, reliable, and ethical, ensuring that the data collected is accurate and unbiased.

Once the research methodology is established, data collection can begin. This may involve conducting surveys, interviews, experiments, or observations, depending on the nature of the research question. The data collected must be analysed using appropriate statistical or qualitative analysis techniques to draw meaningful conclusions.

Finally, the results of the research should be communicated through academic writing. This typically takes the form of a research paper, thesis, or dissertation. The writing should be clear, concise, and well-structured, following the conventions of academic writing. It should also include a discussion of the implications of the research findings and suggestions for future research.

Academic research is a rigorous and systematic process that involves formulating a research question, conducting a literature review, designing a research methodology, collecting and analysing data, and communicating the results. It is a vital component of higher education that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and the development of new theories. By engaging in academic research, students and scholars can make meaningful contributions to their respective fields of study.

Overall, academic writing is a formal and structured style of writing that is used in academic settings. It emphasizes clarity, objectivity, and evidence-based arguments, and is an essential skill for students, researchers, and professionals in various fields.

Essential SEO Techniques for Digital Marketing Success

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a crucial aspect of digital marketing that focuses on improving a website's visibility and ranking on search engine results pages. It involves various strategies and techniques to optimize a website's content, structure, and performance to attract organic traffic from search engines. In the world of digital marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) plays a crucial role in driving organic traffic to websites and improving their visibility on search engine result pages (SERPs).

SEO encompasses a range of strategies and techniques aimed at optimizing website content, structure, and online presence to achieve higher rankings in search engine algorithms.

The primary goal of SEO is to enhance a website's relevance and authority in the eyes of search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. By implementing SEO best practices, businesses can increase their chances of appearing prominently in search results when users enter relevant keywords or phrases.

Effective SEO involves various elements such as keyword research, on-page optimization, technical optimization, link building, and content creation.

ASPECTS OF SEO

1. On-Page SEO: This refers to optimizing individual web pages to improve their search engine rankings. It includes elements such as keyword research, meta tags optimization, URL structure optimization, content optimization, internal linking, and image optimization.

2. Off-Page SEO: Off-Page SEO involves activities outside the website that aim to improve its visibility and reputation in the online community. This includes link building, social media engagement, influencer outreach, guest blogging, and online reputation management.

3. Technical SEO: Technical SEO focuses on improving the technical aspects of a website to enhance its crawlability and indexability by search engines. It includes tasks like XML sitemap creation, robots.txt optimization, page speed optimization, mobile-friendliness testing, SSL implementation for a secure browsing experience.

4. Local SEO: Local SEO aims at optimizing a business's online presence for local searches. It involves optimizing Google My Business listing, local directory listings (e.g., Yelp), and managing customer reviews and ratings effectively.

Effective implementation of SEO techniques can significantly impact a website's visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs) and drive targeted organic traffic. By focusing on on-page factors like relevant key word usage and high-quality content creation while also considering off-page factors such as backlink-building strategies or social media engagement; businesses can improve their chances of ranking higher in SERPs and reaching their target audience more effectively.

Love yourself too!

Sile was a young girl living in a small village in Africa. She came from a poor but extremely strict Christian home. Her parents were both very religious and believed in strict discipline. They would often beat her for the slightest mistake, and this had affected her self-esteem. Sile was a bright and talented girl, but her parents never appreciated her achievements. They always found fault in everything she did and never gave her the love and support she needed. As a result, Sile struggled with self-doubt and low self-esteem.

One day, Sile's teacher noticed that she was not her usual self. She was quiet and withdrawn, and her grades had started to slip. The teacher asked Sile what was wrong, and she opened up about her struggles at home. The teacher was concerned and suggested that Sile should see a therapist. At first, Sile was hesitant. She had never heard of therapy before, and she was afraid of what her parents might say. But with the encouragement of her teacher, Sile decided to give it a try. The therapist was kind and understanding, and Sile felt safe talking to her. She learned that her parents' highhandedness was not her fault, and that she was not a bad person. The therapist helped Sile to see her strengths and talents and to appreciate herself for who she was.

Over time, Sile started to change. She became more confident and assertive, and she began to stand up for herself. She started to pursue her passions and interests, and she found joy in the things she loved.
Sile's parents noticed the change in their daughter, and they were not happy about it. They saw her newfound confidence as disobedience, and they punished her for it. But Sile was no longer afraid. She knew that she was a good person, and she refused to let her parents' negative opinions define her.

Eventually, Sile's parents came to see the error in their ways. They realized that they had been too hard on their daughter, and they asked for her forgiveness. Sile forgave them, but she also made it clear that she would no longer accept their highhandedness. Sile's journey to self-love was not an easy one, but it was worth it. She learned to love and accept herself for who she was, and she found the strength to stand up for herself. She also learned that it was okay to ask for help when she needed it, and that therapy was not something to be ashamed of.

Sile's story is a reminder that we all have the strength to overcome our struggles, no matter how difficult they may seem. With the right support and guidance, we can learn to love ourselves and live our lives to the fullest.

Model Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Earlier, I had discussed what is required to write a Statement of Purpose for college/university admission. Here is another sample personal essay.

I am eager to pursue a Master's in Health Administration and Leadership at Middlesex University in the UK as an aspiring student from Nigeria. The UK has a stellar reputation for its academic prowess and good educational system, which is why I am keen to study there. I am confident that my time spent studying in the UK will provide me a top-notch education and the information and abilities I need to be successful in the field of health administration and leadership.

Middlesex University has a great reputation for turning forth graduates who are highly qualified and knowledgeable and who are prepared to thrive in their areas. I will be able to get priceless knowledge and exposure to diverse healthcare systems, laws, and practices thanks to the university's dedication to provide practical and industry-focused training. I will have the opportunity to learn about a new culture and expand my horizons by studying in the UK. Being exposed to many cultures and thought processes will, in my opinion as a Nigerian, help me develop into a better-rounded person. My capacity to work with and understand individuals from other cultures will be improved by interacting with people from all backgrounds, which is a crucial talent in the field of health administration and leadership.

Numerous Nigerians lack access to high-quality medical care, which presents serious challenges for the country's healthcare system. Nigeria placed 187th out of 191 nations in a 2020 World Health Organization (WHO) poll on the effectiveness of its healthcare system. According to the poll, Nigeria's healthcare system is underfunded, understaffed, and lacking in both infrastructure and healthcare professionals. According to the same report, just 36% of Nigerians have access to basic healthcare services, and many of them cannot afford the high cost of care. As a result, death rates are high, with Nigeria having one of the worst rates of maternal mortality worldwide.

I intend to return to Nigeria after completing my studies in the UK to use the information and abilities I have gained to address the difficulties the healthcare system in my nation is now facing. I am confident that the skills I will acquire from Middlesex University's M.Sc. in Health Administration and Leadership program will allow me to contribute to the development and application of laws and policies that will increase Nigerians' access to high-quality healthcare, lessen healthcare disparities, and improve their general health. I specifically intend to contribute to the advancement of plans and policies that would enhance Nigeria's healthcare system. To do this, stakeholders in healthcare and the government will collaborate to enhance funding for healthcare infrastructure, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. The lack of medical facilities and equipment in Nigeria, which is a significant problem for the healthcare industry, would benefit from this. In addition, I want to help with the formulation of policies that would deal with Nigeria's lack of healthcare professionals. Developing measures to expand the number of healthcare workers in Nigeria, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, would require collaboration between policymakers and healthcare stakeholders. This would aid in addressing Nigeria's severe healthcare personnel shortage, which is a big obstacle.

At Middlesex University, I am keen to pursue a Master's degree in Health Administration and Leadership. My time spent studying in the UK will provide me a top-notch education and priceless experiences that will help me to support the growth of Nigeria's healthcare industry. I intend to go back to Nigeria after finishing my studies to use the information and abilities I have gained to address the difficulties the healthcare industry there is now facing.
